K.P Astrology Course

Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) is an excellent method of astrological predictions conceived, created  by The Great Indian Astrology, late Prof. K.S. K (Kuthur Subbarayaiyer Krishnamurthi). The difference between Traditional method & KP is same like the difference between Allopathy & Homeopathy.

The horoscope remains almost the same as per Vedic/Traditional method, on the other hand, as per KP, the horoscopes changes if the difference of time is + or – 5 min. This is the reason that the birth time should be correct as far as possible.

Krishnamurthy Paddhati of Astrology is also one such system which is used very often to predict events in the future with higher accuracy. It is also known as KP astrology in short where KP obviously stands for Krishnamurthy Paddhati. In KP, the chart is casted based on placidian system and Raphael's table of houses. KP astrology was proposed and popularised by Jyotish Martand Late Shri. K. S. Krishnamurthi.

His research has introduced further accuracy by subdividing 27 stars in to sub-sectors (also called as sub-stars), popularly referred as “sub”. Thus, the entire 360 degrees circle around Earth is subdivided into 249 sectors. At the time of birth, the planets are mapped to be into these 249 sectors at a given place. Due to this KP chart is mathematically more precise. There are a very few rules, the most important one is that the planet gives the results indicated by the star lord. For timing of the event, vimshottari dasas are used along with transits. KP is more accurate in astrological predictions.

In modern era, Krishnamurthy method is used for the most exact prediction. In Krishnamurthy method, a person can easily know about the occurring events of his life because this process has been proven on all the evidences.

What are the other major differences between Vedic Astrology and KP Astrology?

  • KP system gives importance to the Constellations / Stars / Nakshatras divisions of the Zodiac which is obviously the most desired for precision.
  • Further it divides each Constellation / Star / Nakshatra division into further 9 subdivisions called 'SUBS'. These sub divisions are not equal divisions, but are as per the Vimshottari Dashas Divisions System.
  • K.P. System uses K.P. Ayanamshas as opposed to Lahiri Ayanamshas mostly used in Vedic System. The difference between two is about 6 minutes (Kala).
  • This system uses Cusps that is house/ bhav beginnings like Western Systems, as opposed to Vedic System which uses House Centres i.e. Bhav Madhyas.
  • This system uses Placidus House system.
  • The planet in it's dasha gives results as per it's Nakshtra-Swami (Star-Lord) rather than the planet itself.
  • Whether the above results will be benefic or malefic will be decided by the Planet's SUB.
  • Hence Planet is represents the SOURCE, that Planet's Star-Lord represents the EFFECTS, RESULTS and that Planet's Sub gives idea of the FINAL DIRECTION of that result.
  • In Vedic astrology, the predictions seem to be the same for the people born with same lagna/rasi. But, in the real world, they do not possess the same character traits.
