Astrology is the study of the influence that distant cosmic objects, usually stars and planets, have on human lives. The position of the sun, stars, moon and planets at the time of people's birth (not their conception) is said to shape their personality, affect their romantic relationships and predict their economic fortunes, among other divination.
Astrology divided into two parts - Calculative and Predictive.
In modern life computer is able to calculate calculative part of astrology. While predictive astrology
based on experience. Correct prediction is possibly only when there is god's blessing that help to
forecast correctly.
In order to attain perfection in predictive astrology, one is left with two options first being deep
study and other being devotion. Study is the first step towards devotion, as one gains perfection to
study and 'conjunction' is one of such perfections.
A person is taken as a perfect foreteller, even if he knows 50-100 conjunction of planets. People around such persons and desirous of having their horoscopes made by them. An astrologer must be an arrogant person take pride that his forecast about birth of son proved correct. Actually we have no locus standi to claim credit for the predictions made. Actually, whatever is predicted has its roots embedded in our Rishie's predictions and planetary positions indicate whether a native will get a son or not. We should base our predictions on the basis of what our sages have already mentioned. If a prediction proves true, we must express our gratitude to our sages.
